Position Overview




QinetiQ Inc. is seeking a Personnel Security Specialist to support Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance missions across the business. This position will be responsible for managing personnel security actions for QinetiQ and affiliated subcontractors in support of the U.S. Army and partner nation clearance requirements in line with QinetiQ security policies.






Responsibilities




    Screen and process employees and contingent workers for background investigations
  • Utilize QinetiQ and various government personnel security databases to perform submissions and status checks
  • Perform general duties of the office (e.g., fingerprinting, periodic reviews, clearance upgrades/downgrades, site transfers, running reports, etc.)
  • Process incoming and outgoing Visit Access Requests in support of assigned personnel and programs
  • Process foreign travel notifications and debriefs
  • Support transmission of sensitive and classified materials for electronic and physical distribution
  • Provide support to internal Security functions to include PHYSEC, OPSEC, and Industrial Security
  • Perform preliminary inquiries for security infractions/violations





Required Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree is required (or 4 years of related experience)
  • SECRET or higher security clearance
  • 5 years related experience
