Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Officer at the Leidos Security Service Center in Chantilly, VA to manage clearance processing for two Intelligence Community agencies and maintain the personnel clearance database. The role requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, High School Diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of related experience, and strong MS Office skills.

Proficiency with SIMS security software is preferred.

The Leidos Security Service Center located in Chantilly, VA is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Officer to support two Intelligence Community agencies.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage clearance processing and accesses for two Intelligence Community agencies
• Initiate, track, and document all aspects of personnel security functions for the IC including, but not limited to processing security clearances, reinvestigations, continuous vetting, outgoing visit requests, SOP/EOD coordination, badge renewals

Required Experience:

• Minimum of Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph on start date
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3-5 years of related experience
• Working knowledge of IC clearance processing procedures
• Knowledge of IC government regulations is required
• Experience using various databases, including proficiency with MS Office
• Solid command of the English language with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• High level of discretion and judgment when handling sensitive personal information
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter as well as a solid group contributor

Preferred Experience:

• Proficiency with SIMS security software

Pay Range:

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
