Job description

Bennett Aerospace Inc, a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, is seeking a Personnel Security Assistant in Arlington, Virginia.

The Person Secuirty Assistant will support the Office of Court Security. The Assistant will work with other Government Agencies, Contractors, and Federal Employees to support initial investigations and reinvestigations for the federal background investigation process.

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to undergo and pass a background investigation.

Position Responsibilities:

• Determine the appropriate level of initial investigation and reinvestigation depending on the position's designation level
• Conduct preliminary record checks of the Office of Personnel Management's Central Verification System (CVS) to determine if a current reciprocal investigation meets position designation requirements
• Invite the individual into NBIS eAPP (electronic application) and assist with access issues
• Determine if additional inquiries are necessary to resolve discrepant, negative, or contradictory information
• Fingerprint applicants and employees, conduct National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/National Law Enforcement.
• Telecommunications System (NLETS) inquiries; conduct credit checks

Position Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of specialized experience as a Personnel Security Assistant
• Minimum of 1 year of experience with initiation and review of NBIS eApp (electronic application)
• Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Personnel Security Process Management

Security Requirements:

• Clearance Level Required: Public Trust
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and must meet eligibility and suitability requirements.
• Successful Pass of Bennett Aerospace Background Investigation, Drug Screening and Credit Check.

This position is located in Arlington, VA.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 - $68,000
