Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active US Secret Security clearance.
• 1+ years of federal government personnel security.
• Knowledge of government personnel security databases.
• Strong computer skills - MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Able to work both independently and in close collaboration with other team members.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Help Deloitte navigate security requirements for Deloitte’s Civil Government Sector clients, including Energy Sector Federal clients, by providing personnel security processing, reviewing contract documents, and responding to questions around government client security procedures.
• Initiate, prepare, and submit required personnel security applications for access to National Security Information and Positions of Trust programs to include eApp, SF86, SF86C and other agency required paperwork.
• Support GPS Security personnel security mission to include daily database entries, including status checks in government databases; monitoring and queries associated with ensuring our cleared personnel databases are in synch with current employee status; notifications to newly cleared personnel; maintaining updated personnel security and suitability records, outgoing clearance certifications for classified visits; maintaining accurate and up-to-date records within internal database.
• Acts as the quality control specialist for personnel security paperwork, ensuring all packages are accurately completed and ensuring any required/associated documentation is included.
• Develop relationships and conduct ongoing follow‑up, briefings and communications with engagement teams and government points of contact
• Prepare and complete visit authorization letters (VAL) for classified visit requests
• Provide support and input with Request for Proposal (RFP) response
• Other duties and special projects as assigned
