US Treasury, Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis, is seeking a Senior Personnel Security Specialist to oversee the Personnel Security Branch. The position is a term appointment with potential extension up to four years, located in Washington, DC.
The successful candidate will review background investigations, adjudicate credentialing, and ensure regulatory compliance with personnel security laws and guidelines.
This is a Term appointment with an initial expectation to last one year and one day. At the agency's discretion, this appointment may be extended without further competition up to a maximum not-to-exceed (NTE) total of four years. This position is located at Departmental Offices, Terrorism and Financial Intelligence - Intelligence Analysis. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Senior Personnel Security Specialist within the DO Personnel Security Branch.

For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service.

You may qualify by a combination of experience and education. To combine education and experience, the total percentage of experience at the required grade level compared to the requirement, as well as the percentage of completed education compared to the requirement must equal at least 100 percent. Only graduate level education in excess of the first 36 semester hours (54 quarter hours) may be combined to be considered for qualifying education.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full‑time work; part‑time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resumé.
