Responsible for performing duties within the Personalized Services Department, which may include:

  • Laundry, Dry Cleaning, Optical Shop, Barber, Beauty Shop, Video Rental, floral displays, FTD gift wrapping, Western Union, engraving, sorting and distribution of mail/packages, stocking, maintaining sales areas, check cashing, Military Star Card applications and payments, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Barber/Beauty Shop: Serve as receptionist, answer phones, schedule appointments, manage tickets, maintain inventories, assist with sanitation.
  • Flower Shop: Create floral arrangements, advise customers, maintain flowers, assist with orders and deliveries.
  • Laundry & Dry Cleaning: Receive garments, compute costs, process articles, file and maintain records.
  • Optical Shop: Process prescription forms, order replacements, maintain records, notify patrons of receipts.
  • Personalized Services: Gift wrapping, order taking, engraving, mail processing, document management, Military Star Card services.
  • Video Rental: Rent tapes, manage accounts, perform repairs, operate cash register, handle inventory.
  • Layaway Services: Explain policies, process orders, handle transactions, resolve customer issues, assist in training.

Additional duties include resolving customer issues, training new associates, and working independently within policies.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have lived in the U.S. for three years.
  • 6 months of responsible clerical, office, or retail sales experience.
  • Education substitution: Graduation from high school or GED may substitute experience.
