Job Summary:
Responsible for performing duties within the Personalized Services Department, including responsibilities such as laundry, dry cleaning, optical shop, barber and beauty shop, video rental, floral displays, FTD gift wrapping, Western Union, engraving, mail sorting and distribution, stocking, maintaining sales areas, check cashing, Military Star Card processing, and more.

Duties and Responsibilities: Performs assigned duties related to:

  • Barber/Beauty Shop: Serves as receptionist, answers phones, schedules appointments, manages tickets, maintains inventories, and assists with sanitation.
  • Flower Shop: Creates floral arrangements, advises customers, maintains flowers, assists with orders, and may deliver flowers.
  • Laundry & Dry Cleaning: Receives garments, computes costs, issues receipts, bags articles, and files documents.
  • Optical Shop: Processes prescription forms, orders replacement parts, maintains records, and notifies patrons of merchandise receipt.
  • Personalized Services: Handles gift wrapping, orders, engraving, Western Union transactions, mail sorting, packaging, and Military Star Card services.
  • Video Rental: Rents videos, manages accounts, performs minor repairs, and operates cash register.
  • Layaway Services: Explains policies, manages reports, processes orders, and handles transactions.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Must be a U.S. Citizen or have lived in the U.S. for three years.

General Experience: 6 months of responsible clerical, office, or retail sales experience.

Substitution of Education for Experience: Graduation from high school or GED may substitute for experience.
