Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking a hands-on Personal Training Manager to lead a team of fitness professionals and drive revenue in Life Time Training. You’ll oversee hiring, budget, and program design while ensuring a high level of member experience and adherence to Core 3 Method.

You will coach trainers to meet session goals, manage payroll within budget, and conduct weekly department meetings to align on strategy and growth across the club's fitness services.

Qualifications

• 3 years of personal training experience at Life Time.
• 2–3 years of sales and program design experience.
• 2 years of supervisory and management experience.
• Certified Personal Trainer.
• CPR and AED certification within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field.

Responsibilities

• Ensures an artistry level member experience on the fitness floor daily.
• Develops safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs.
• Motivates and coaches Personal Trainers to achieve revenue and session goals.
• Ensures Trainers promote and sell personal training programs.
• Completes payroll and ensures payroll expenses stay within budget.
• Monitors all PT department supplies and expenditures.
• Manages 90‑day onboarding for new Personal Trainers.
• Assesses performance, provides feedback and recognition.
• Makes hiring, promotion and termination recommendations to the General Manager.
• Conducts weekly Personal Training Department and Management meetings.
