Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Morristown, NJ is seeking a dynamic Personal Training Manager to lead our PT staff and grow revenue through memberships.

You will hire, train, and develop trainers, drive client retention with top-tier service, and collaborate with department heads to deliver Crunch’s No Judgments brand. Requires leadership experience, fitness credentials, and a passion for helping others.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• NCCA Accredited Personal Trainer Certification and/or BS in Exercise Science; CPR current.

Responsibilities

• Hire, manage, train & develop personal training staff.
• Increase revenue by introducing members to personal training services. Follow up with and manage leads.
• Retain personal training clients through excellent customer service & follow-up. Understand reporting and implementation of course correction.
• Keep up with client program design to maximize client results.
• Work with all department heads to deliver on brand promise.

Job Responsibilities

Education Level

Experience

• 1-2 Years as a Personal Trainer preferred


• Preferred: Prior management experience in gym or retail/hospitality industry leading 3- 10 employees


• Preferred: Consultative sales experience

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in club office; move about club floors and rooms; review, revise, and create club paperwork; communicate with employees, members, and the public


• Regularly required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures. Regularly required to lift to 50 pounds

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
