Personal Training Manager – EōS Fitness

Essential Purpose

As the Personal Training Manager, you report to the Fitness Manager and work closely with the Sr. Director of PT Experience. You are the go‑to leader ensuring our trainers deliver top‑notch service and build strong relationships with members, driving client satisfaction, retention, and results.

Responsibilities

• Operate day‑to‑day management of the personal training staff.
• Serve as the key business partner to the Fitness Manager on daily operations of the PT business.
• Drive the team to meet or exceed all established PT targets each month.
• Lead high‑value PT orientation sessions to maximize new client acquisition and increase overall PT penetration.
• Identify and operationalize opportunities to grow and improve the personal training department.
• Oversee and improve the PT experience to drive revenue growth and client retention.
• Manage the trainer lifecycle from sourcing and hiring through onboarding, in‑club training, development, and ongoing performance management.
• Coach and develop trainers through regular individual and team meetings.
• Minimize trainer turnover and increase tenure through continuous coaching, development, and support.

Qualifications

• At least one year as an EōS personal trainer for internal candidates (or equivalent managerial experience for external candidates).
• At or above an L2 or Master Coach level as an EōS personal trainer.
• Passionate about team development through education and coaching.
• Accountable and comfortable holding others accountable to performance goals and KPIs.
• Excellent communicator with high emotional intelligence.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, initiative‑taker who meets deadlines.

Requirements

• Successfully pass background check.
• Carry a valid Personal Training Certification.
• Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Work in a gym setting, move about club floors rooms, communicate with employees, members, and the public.
• Bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs.
• Access and operate company computer systems for document preparation, data entry, and report reading.

Compensation Plan

Competitive base salary and bonus opportunity. Ability to train five paid client session hours per week.

Salary pay range: $58,656—$85,000 USD.
