Life Time is offering a Personal Training Internship in Fridley, MN. This hands-on program is designed for those with an accredited fitness certification or related degree, combining observation, client interaction, and supervised training within a dynamic club environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have working knowledge of health and fitness and the human body.
• Punctual, positive and energetic personality.
• Desire to pursue accredited Personal Training Certification or related degree.
• Desire to work as a Life Time Personal Trainer in the near future.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Reads, watches, and engages in required training and adheres to policies and safety standards.
• Provides fitness floor assistance to members to ensure safety, educate and motivate.
• Performs member service tasks such as fitness assessments, desk duties and equipment cleaning.
• Promotes personal training programs and services.
• Delivers superior customer service to enhance member experience.
• Documents weekly observations and lessons learned.
• Assists with personal training sessions when appropriate.
• Demonstrates Life Time values in all interactions.
• Has weekly progress reviews with supervisor.
• Supports member engagement activities.
