Job description

Fitness Coach

Location: OTF 904 Region
Terms: Full Time
Pay Rate: $30 - $50 per class
Reports to: Studio Manager

Requirements: Deliver high energy fun class to help members achieve success.

About the Role

An OTF coach is one of the most admired coaching roles in the industry. OTF sets the standard in program design, technology, innovation, and growth as a fitness coach.

Responsibilities

1. Successfully coach pre-designed workouts to groups of 10+
2. Create a fun and inclusive fitness experience for all levels of exercisers
3. Provide a clean and safe environment for members to work out in
4. Energize and motivate clients through the sessions
5. Build attendance and retain members
6. Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels
7. Attend monthly/quarterly and other staff meetings and regional educational trainings
8. Handle member concerns
9. Assist in the sales process

Job Qualifications

1. Intermediate knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics
2. Ability to multi-task and stay organized
3. Positive attitude and effective interpersonal communication skills
4. Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels
5. Must hold current fitness certification from an OTF approved company such as ACSM, ACE, NSCA, NASM, or AFFA
6. CPR/AED certification
7. Preferred: 1+ years of experience teaching groups or personal training in the fitness industry
8. Must be able to safely lift and move 40lbs
9. Excellent customer service skills
