BayCare, a major Tampa Bay-area healthcare system, seeks a PRN fitness trainer to deliver individualized fitness and wellness programs across our facilities. You will assess needs, tailor exercise plans, and conduct personal training for members and guests, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety.

You should hold a HS diploma, prefer a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or related field, and possess credentials such as ACE, NSCA, ACSM, or NASM, with BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• HS Graduate or Equivalent GED
• Bachelor's Degree Exercise Science or Related (Nonessential)
• Credentials: ACE, NSCA, ACSM, NASM; BLS within 90 days; Preferred certifications: ACE, NSCA, ACSM

Responsabilités

• Deliver individualized fitness and wellness programs and evaluate client needs.
• Develop tailored exercise plans and supervise routines for individuals or small groups.
• Oversee fitness area, lead classes, ensure equipment cleanliness, enforce policies, manage towels and member files.
• Conduct personal training sessions with members and guests, meeting monthly session goals.
• Apply knowledge of anatomy and physiology to exercise for varied ages; take on extra responsibilities as needed.
