Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking capable Personal Trainers in Romeoville, IL to coach members toward healthier lives and build strong relationships. You will design personalized programs, educate on equipment use, and assess progress while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include fitness consultations, safety education, program documentation, and ongoing credential maintenance. A full benefits package accompanies a commission-based earning structure for full-time team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience is preferred.
• Certified personal Trainer certification is required.
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design.
• Ability to perform aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop safe, comprehensive client programs aimed at goal achievement and retention.
• Instruct clients during sessions on safe use of cardio, flexibility, and strength equipment.
• Conduct fitness consultations including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Provide fitness floor assistance to ensure safety, education, and motivation.
• Promote and sell personal training programs and services.
• Complete administrative requirements for each client’s fitness plan.
• Remain current on credentials and continuing education.
