Job summary

Iowa Sports Management is seeking a Personal Trainer to design customized fitness programs for members and clients and to maintain relationships with current clients. They will log sessions and coordinate with the Personal Training Director to support program growth and uphold company standards.

The position requires a current national certification and CPR, availability for early mornings, evenings, and some weekends, and the ability to demonstrate exercises to clients.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized personal training certification and American Red Cross CPR certification or equivalent.
• Available to work early mornings, evenings, and some weekends.
• Ability to interact in a friendly, personal, and professional manner with patrons and clients.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises for clients.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new clients to create individualized programs based on client’s goals.
• Track progress and adjust workouts to help clients reach established goals.
• Respond to emails and return client communications in a timely manner.
• Input client sessions ahead of schedule and log sessions after completion.
• Be reachable to Personal Training Director and clients on a regular basis.
