Personal Trainer - Strength and Conditioning

Summary Objective: Provide personalized attention and professional fitness instruction to Explosive Performance members, build your training business through referrals, and improve members’ lives under the management of the Explosive Performance Site Director and team.
Compensation: $40-$50/hour.
Essential Functions
- Develop and maintain your training business.
- Help recruit and retain Explosive Performance members.
- Monitor, coach, and instruct members in safe and effective exercise tactics.
- Support efforts to promote Explosive Performance as a leading sport-specific training company nationwide.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide high-level personal service and attention.
- Maintain a minimum of 12 client hours weekly.
- Conduct fitness assessments and Smart Start appointments.
- Achieve an average 20% booking rate per floor hour in Smart Start or other member engagement activities.
- Respond appropriately to questions, comments, and complaints.
- Promote activities, events, and training programs.
- Participate in recruitment and educational events.
- Qualify leads using Exercise Readiness and Member Questionnaires.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
- Record and upload floor hours prior to deadlines.
- Redeem only sessions for services rendered or forfeited due to cancellations.
- Provide ongoing services only to members with active personal training agreements.
- Follow conduct, ethics, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Complete all required in-house training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Friendly, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
- Confidence in building new relationships quickly.
- Ability to learn and apply new skills rapidly.
- Competence in Smart Start, movement analysis, and creating tailored fitness programs.
- Training in Explosive Performance methods such as Trigger Point Therapy, Active Isolated Stretching, Dynamic Flexibility, Speed, and Functional Movement Screening.
Required Experience, Education & Certifications
- Nationally recognized Personal Training certification from an accepted US provider.
- CPR/AED certification.
- Current continuing education credentials.
