A Day in the Life of a Personal Trainer
- Show passion, purpose, care and coaching by designing and implementing safe and effective exercise programs, incorporating a variety of cardiovascular, strength, flexibility, and restorative techniques.
- Provide personalized training sessions tailored to each client’s needs.
- Maintain ambitious standards of professionalism and client engagement, building long‑term relationships based on trust and expertise.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth and development.
- Build long‑term relationships with clients by delivering unparalleled service through innovative, safety‑focused programming that ensures the achievement of client goals.
- Conduct thorough fitness assessments and regularly track client progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Compensation for Client Sessions
- Level1: Earn $20 per 60‑minute session
- Level2: Earn $25–$35 per 60‑minute session
- Level3: Earn $30–$50 per 60‑minute session
- Elite Level: Earn $35–$67 per 60‑minute session
30‑minute sessions are compensated at half the rate of a 60‑minute session. The more you grow, the more you earn—rewarding your dedication, expertise, and commitment to helping our members reach their goals.
Qualifications
- Build strong relationships and communicate effectively with members while delivering excellent customer service with an energetic, motivating, and enthusiastic demeanor.
- Ability to resolve conflicts professionally and diplomatically.
- Baseline computer skills for managing email, schedules, and other business tools.
- Thorough knowledge of exercise science, nutrition, and fitness programming.
- Ability to demonstrate safe and effective exercise techniques.
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills in a dynamic, fast‑paced setting.
Certifications, Degrees & Training Experience
- Holds one or more nationally accredited PT certifications.
- CPR/AED certified, required.
- High school diploma or GED, required.
- Four‑year degree in Exercise Science or a related field, preferred.
- Minimum one‑year personal training experience, preferred.
- Previous experience in fitness program design, preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to lift or move 50 lbs.
- Physical effort required for daily duties includes lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, and prolonged standing.
Post‑Hire Expectations
After 90 days of employment, trainers will be expected to maintain a minimum of 16 hours of long‑term recurring personal training services per month to maintain their position.
