JOB OVERVIEW

As an Equinox personal trainer, you will develop your career in a supportive environment, guided by dedicated managers. You will refine your skills in programming, education, business, and financial planning, helping you reach your full potential and redefine fitness and living.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Build and maintain an active client base
2. Manage and schedule client appointments, meetings, and availability
3. Market and sell personal training programs to members and clients
4. Stay knowledgeable about club services, programs, and products
5. Perform fitness assessments, guided workouts, and other services for members
6. Interact with members to enhance their experience
7. Create and coach personalized programs for in-person and virtual clients
8. Maintain an organized and safe fitness environment during shifts
9. Attend Continuing Education classes to improve skills and qualify for promotions
10. Participate in team and management meetings

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification
• CPR/AED certification (certification opportunities available for non-certified applicants)
• Passion, ambition, and knowledge about fitness
• Availability to work in-person during weekdays and weekends
• Strong communication skills
• Effective time management and organization
• Basic computer skills
• Energetic, friendly, punctual, respectful
