Job summary

Life Time, Inc. is seeking a Personal Trainer in California to deliver comprehensive training programs, conduct fitness consultations, and educate members on health trends. You will supervise sessions, promote services, and maintain client records in line with Life Time Core 3 Brand.

The role emphasizes safety, ongoing certification, and member satisfaction, with a base hourly rate and incentive pay for personal production. Full-time team members receive extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of personal training experience is required.
• Certified Personal Trainer is required.
• CPR and AED certified is required.
• Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition and program design is required.
• Ability to perform an aerobic activity for the duration of a class and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develops safe, professional, exciting and comprehensive personal training programs to ensure clients are satisfied and motivated.
• Instructs clients on safe and effective use of cardiovascular, flexibility and strength training equipment.
• Educates members on current health and fitness issues and trends.
• Conducts fitness consultations for new clients, including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Refers members to appropriate trainer level based on needs.
• Fulfills member service requirements such as fitness assessments and equipment operations.
• Promotes and sells personal training programs and services.
• Completes all administrative requirements associated with each client’s fitness plan.
• Remains current on certifications and trends in the industry.
