Job summary

Snap Fitness Chaska is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer to join our team. The right candidate will have a passion for fitness, desire to motivate others, and a fun upbeat attitude.

You will develop personalized exercise programs, conduct coaching sessions, and help members reach their fitness goals while maintaining a clean facility. Performance-based bonuses and advancement opportunities accompany this on-site role.

Qualifications

• PT certification from a nationally accredited organization or agreement to be certified within 60 days of employment
• First Aid & CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Strong communication skills with clients from diverse backgrounds
• Desire for longevity and ability to grow with clients
• Sales experience a plus and helpful for program enrollment
• Drive to acquire and retain clients; must maintain active client list
• Fun, personable team player who collaborates with staff and management

Responsibilities

• Conduct service appointments with members including nutritional guidance, proper use of fitness equipment, and correct exercise form
• Advise members on achieving personal fitness goals
• Develop individualized exercise programs aligned with members' goals
• Monitor and assist members to ensure safe exercise form
• Maintain facility cleanliness and tidiness
• Help achieve monthly revenue goals established by management
• Offer complimentary consultations to potential new clients
• Collaborate with sales/management to help new members achieve fitness goals through personal training

Responsibilities:

• Conduct service appointments with members which includes nutritional counseling, proper use of fitness equipment, and proper form of exercises.
• Advise members on ways to achieve their fitness goals.
• Develop individualized exercise programs consistent with our members’ personal fitness and exercise goals.
• Continually monitor and assist members to ensure proper form is used when performing exercises.
• Ensure facility cleanliness and tidiness.
• Responsible for achieving monthly revenue goal established by management team.
• Complimentary consultations to potential new clients
• Partner with sales/management team to help new members achieve their fitness goals with personal training.

Qualifications:

• Personal Trainer certification from a nationally accredited organization (NESTA, ACE, ACSM, Cooper Fitness, NASM, NATA, NSCA, NPTI, ISSA) OR agreement to be certified within 60 days of employment
• First Aid & CPR Certified OR ability to obtain certification within 60 days of employment
