Job summary

YMCA in Warminster, PA is seeking a Certified Personal Trainer to work one-on-one with members, design personalized workout plans, and provide motivation and support. Strong communication and knowledge of exercise science are essential, with lifesaving CPR & First Aid training provided.

We offer part-time and full-time opportunities with a competitive hourly wage of $23.00–$30.00, plus benefits like a free YMCA membership and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized personal training certificate and strong knowledge of exercise science, techniques, nutrition, and injury prevention.
• Ability to develop individualized and group fitness programs.
• Lifesaving certifications (CPR & First Aid) - training provided.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and small group workouts.
• Assess clients' fitness levels and design customized fitness programs.
• Demonstrate exercises and provide guidance on proper technique and form.
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering client relationships.
• Level II Trainers: lead group exercise classes and small groups; support donor-funded Pathway programs; ensure safe wellness spaces during peak hours.

Warminster, PA | Part Time, Hourly (12 hours minimum per week required); Full Time Opportunities (40 hours a week) Also Available | $23.00-$30.00 per hour

What is needed for this job:

• Nationally recognized personal training certificate (NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) and strong knowledge of exercise science, techniques, nutrition, and injury prevention
• Ability to develop individualized and group fitness programs
• Lifesaving certifications (CPR & First Aid) - training provided

The responsibilities we will trust you with:

• Conduct one-on-one personal training sessions and small group workouts

• Demonstrate exercises and provide guidance on proper technique and form
• Provide exceptional customer service, fostering client relationships
• Level II Trainers should have the additional expertise in:
  • Leading group exercise classes and small group training sessions
  • Leading small groups of people to build community and connections through donor-funded Pathway programs
  • Creating safe and welcoming environments in our wellness spaces during peak evening and weekend hours (15 hours minimum part-time)
