Bronson Healthcare is seeking a Personal Trainer to design safe, effective exercise programs and provide one-on-one coaching in Kalamazoo. You will perform movement assessments, review health history, and support clients with nutrition, stress, and sleep guidance while maintaining documentation of sessions.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with 6–12 months of experience; a Bachelor's in Exercise Science is preferred; active CPT (NASM/ACE/ACSM) or CSCS in good standing is

The personal trainer creates safe and effective exercise programs, aimed at reducing injury and helping clients achieve fitness goals. Provides one-on-one wellness coaching, exercise plans, movement assessment, documentation of exercise programs, and administrative tasks as needed. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served.
Work which produces very high levels of mental/visual fatigue, e.g. CRT work between 70 and 90 percent of the time, and work involving extremely close tolerances and considerable hand/eye coordination for sustained periods of time. Job definitely requires above average strength and/or stamina to regularly lift weights up to 100 pounds and occasionally assisting with heavier tasks or expending the equivalent effort in pushing, pulling, or otherwise handling material, equipment and other objects. Work may be performed in positions requiring considerable expenditure of effort in reaching, climbing, maintaining balance, or manipulating heavy objects.
