We are looking for a Part-Time Coach who is passionate about helping people, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow with a high-performing team.

The Opportunity

As a Part-Time Coach, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional training experience to our members while creating a positive, energetic, and welcoming environment.

This role is ideal for a coach who wants to develop their coaching skills, build relationships with clients, and become part of a team that genuinely cares about member results.

What You'll Do
  • Lead high-quality small-group personal training sessions
  • Coach members through strength, conditioning, mobility, and functional training
  • Modify exercises based on individual abilities, limitations, and goals

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional training environment
  • Participate in team meetings, education, and ongoing professional development
  • Assist with Starting Point Sessions and other member experience initiatives when needed
  • Represent Alloy professionally within the studio and local community
What We're Looking For

You don't need to be the most experienced coach in the room — you need to be coachable, reliable, and great with people.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has a genuine passion for fitness and helping others
  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is energetic, positive, and personable
  • Can confidently coach groups while still providing individual attention
  • Is dependable and takes ownership of their responsibilities
  • Is comfortable working with a wide range of fitness levels and abilities
  • Wants to continuously improve as a coach
  • Works well within a team environment
  • Understands that great coaching is about more than just counting reps
  • Is willing to learn and follow a proven training system
Qualifications
  • Current nationally recognized Personal Training certification required (NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM, NCSF, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED certification required or must be obtained within an agreed-upon timeframe
  • Previous personal training or coaching experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to confidently coach small groups while providing individualized attention
  • Passion for fitness, coaching, and helping people achieve their goals
  • Reliable, professional, and committed to continued learning and development
Schedule

This is a part-time position with opportunities for additional hours based on availability, performance, and studio needs.

Typical coaching shifts may include:

  • Early morning
  • Midday
  • Evening
  • Occasional weekends or special events

Availability for early morning and/or evening sessions is strongly preferred.

Compensation

Starting at $25/hour, with opportunities to earn more based on performance, experience, responsibilities, and growth within the company.

Additional opportunities may include:

  • Performance-based increases
  • Referral bonuses
  • Additional coaching hours
  • Opportunities for leadership and advancement
Why Alloy?
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment
  • Proven coaching system and programming
  • Ongoing professional development
  • Opportunity to grow within a rapidly growing personal training business
  • Strong member community
  • Career advancement opportunities for coaches who want to take on more responsibility
Our Ideal Coach

The ideal Alloy Coach is someone who cares about people, loves coaching, brings great energy, and wants to get better every day.

We're not looking for someone who simply wants to clock in, run a workout, and leave.

We want coaches who take ownership of the member experience and understand that the small things — learning someone's name, celebrating their progress, encouraging them through a tough workout, and making them feel like they belong — are what create long-term results and retention.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.
