Thunder Fitness is looking for an experienced Personal Trainer who wants to build a career in the fitness industry beyond simply coaching training sessions.
This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with clients but also wants to develop skills in assessments, program prescription, sales, client onboarding, nutrition, accountability and leadership.
We are looking for someone who understands that great coaching is about more than exercise selection. It is about understanding the person in front of you, identifying what they need, communicating clearly and helping them follow through.
We're looking for someone who is equally comfortable sitting down with a client, having a meaningful conversation, asking the right questions and building a strong professional relationship.
We don't believe the only way for a trainer to increase their income is to fill their schedule with more training sessions.
Coaching back-to-back sessions all day can eventually lead to burnout. We are looking for someone who wants to develop multiple skills and multiple ways to contribute to the business.
Your role can include coaching, assessments, program prescription, sales, client onboarding, nutrition/accountability meetings and eventually leadership responsibilities.
Thunder Fitness provides the clients. You will not be expected to spend your time cold prospecting or building your own book of business.
The goal is to help you become more valuable within the business while creating a career that isn't dependent on coaching every hour of the day.
The initial role is designed to begin around 15–20 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow toward 40 hours as you take on additional responsibilities.
As you develop within Thunder Fitness, there is potential to take on greater responsibility in areas such as client experience, assessments, sales, trainer development, scheduling and operations.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow with the business and become an important part of the team.
$25–$100+ per hour based on experience, responsibilities and contribution.
The position provides opportunities to earn through coaching as well as additional responsibilities such as assessments, sales and other areas of the business.
Pay: $25.00 - $100.00 per hour
