This position is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and individualized fitness instruction to a diverse range of clients. Personal Trainers conduct fitness assessments, design tailored workout plans, and motivate participants to pursue healthier lifestyles in a supportive and professional setting.
This part-time position is scheduled for 5-20 hours per week, with hours varying based on client needs. Candidates should be available after 3 p.m., including evenings and weekends. The schedule also includes leading small group training on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m.
Starting rate of pay is $24.50 per hour.
This position is performed indoors in a fitness center environment with frequent exposure to loud noise, varied temperatures, and humid conditions. Physical demands include walking, standing, reaching, lifting up to 50 lbs., and demonstrating exercises. The role requires manual dexterity, flexibility, and visual acuity to monitor technique and ensure participant safety. Occasional climbing, bending, and kneeling are required.
