The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division is seeking a Personal Trainer to join the Kroc Community Center in Green Bay. You will design one-on-one and small group sessions, tailor 60-minute programs, and help members achieve their fitness goals in a welcoming environment.

The Personal Trainer requires flexibility to work up to 18 hours/week. The pay rate is $19.00/hour or more depending on skills, certifications and experience.

The Personal Trainer's purpose is to provide fitness programming specific to the goals and ability level of the client. Personal Trainers are expected to provide one-on-one, two-on-one, and small group training sessions that are 60-minutes in length.

Uses a variety of fitness equipment. Also, office equipment including a computer, telephone, fax machine, copiers, printers and projection machines.

Nationally-recognized personal training certification from NSCA, ACSM, or NASM. Other certifying bodies will be considered. First Aid, CPR and AED Certification to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
This job is performed at times in an office environment at normal room temperature. The noise level in this work environment is usually low. For other duties of this job, such as outdoor special events and community center activities, the employee may be exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment at these events is usually moderate to loud.
