Personal Trainer

Part Time Fort Worth, TX, US

JOB SUMMARY:
  • Conduct initial orientation for members, includingmembersBLE-ID access.
  • Help Director createmonthly fitness initiativesfor the members of theclubwho train on their own.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 hours per weekin either billable hours,classesor fitnesscenterspecific activities.
  • Inspects exercise equipment andfacilitiesfor maintenance needs. Informs Director of any needsidentified.
  • Cleans fitness center and equipment.
  • Help stock andmaintainsupplies including but not limited to towels, drinks, cleaning supplies, tissues, etc.
  • Ensures that all policies and procedures arefollowed. Follow up with the Director of Fitness if there is an issue.
  • Help the Director of Fitness create and implementnew programsfor the members outside of personal training including but not limited to run groups, yoga, andall other club events and activities that areoffered to members.
  • Guides members through progressive training sessions in the areas of flexibility, aerobic training & conditioning, and strength training.
  • Helpmonitor all members as they use the equipment and facility to ensure that safe and proper techniques are used at all times.
  • Ensures that all members are charged by Ridglea CountryClub fortickets and billed correctly and in the appropriate month. All tickets must bedoneby the fitness professional.
  • Help with theFitnessCenterprojects as needed including but not limited to bulletin boards, newsletter articles, etc.
  • Performs miscellaneous responsibilities in other areas ofFitness Centerwhich the Director of Fitnessrequests.
JOB TASKS:
  • Working knowledge of Club policies and guidelines as outlined in theRidglea Country ClubEmployee Handbook and Orientation Guide.
  • Work Ethic – Establishes and maintainsprofessionalstandard of conduct and appearance at all times. Exhibitsprofessionalattitude towards superiors,colleaguesandmembers.
  • Hygiene – Exhibits and employs proper personal hygiene and dresses professionally. Ridglea work shirts must be worn when Personal Training members.
JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Each Personal Trainer mustsubmita health, fitness, or nutritional article for members when assigned by Director .
EDUCATIONAL / WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must beCPR/AED certified
  • Musthave Personal Training Certification or related Fitness Degree(s)
