Unlike traditional big box gyms and personal training studios, Fitness Together provides a holistic, prescriptive approach that incorporates resistance training, cardiovascular training and nutrition counseling. Our team of Fitness Experts sole responsibility is to focus on the clients, their experience and their results. Our experts are not responsible for sales or booking their own schedules. Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Exercise physiology, or related study is a minimum requirement for consideration of employment.
• Performing individual fitness assessments for clients every 4 to 6 weeks.
• Thorough understanding of science based progressive training programs
• Creating customized training programs for clients based on consistent assessment results.
• Knowledge of injury prevention & post rehab recovery, disease prevention & management, special conditions & limitations, geriatric population & high performance athletes and being able to motivate and educate clients to reach their individual goals.
• Create unique, memorable and personal experiences for clients that make Fitness Together customers clients for life!
• Interact with clients and team members without judgement, and express empathy for those around you
• Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration to meet the needs of those around you
• Always maintain a space of cleanliness and ensure a safe and accident-free environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred
• At least 1 year experience in the Exercise/Personal Training Industry; including working with special populations.
• ACASM, NASM, ACE, NSCA Or ISSA Certifications preferred
• Must be available to work a full 8 hour shift 5 days/wk
• CPR/AED and First Aid Certification
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Exceptional work ethic
• Ability to adapt quickly to each client’s individual needs
• Enjoys & excels in a team environment
