Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living in Maine is hiring a Personal Support Specialist to assist residents with activities of daily living, respond to call lights, and document care changes. You will join a Maine-based family-owned organization dedicated to safe, high-quality care for seniors.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age
• Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire.
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, etc.)
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (using telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation/service, etc.)
• Respond to resident call lights promptly
• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned
• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.
