Job summary

Woodlands Senior Living in Maine is hiring a Personal Support Specialist to assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, grooming, and meal support. You will respond to call lights promptly and document care provisions as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must commit to obtaining PSS certification within 120 days of hire.
• Must provide proof of immunization/immunity to MMR, Varicella and Influenza.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility).
• Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living (telephone, light housekeeping, meal preparation).
• Respond to resident call lights promptly.
• Perform scheduled resident activities as assigned.
• Accurately document care provisions or changes in resident statuses.
