Job summary

Excellence Home Care is seeking caring, dependable Caregivers / Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to join our team. You’ll help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while making a positive difference in their daily lives.

We offer a flexible part-time schedule, paid orientation and training, and opportunities for growth. Benefits include 401(k) and a supportive team across Southern Maine.

Qualifications

• PSS certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Experience as a caregiver, PSS, CNA, or HHA is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and respectful
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping
• Help with walking and mobility
• Follow the client's care plan
• Complete basic documentation after each visit
• Report any changes in the client's condition
