Job summary

Excellence Home Care is seeking caring and dependable Caregivers / Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to join our team in Southern Maine. You will help clients stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while delivering compassionate support during visits.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing and grooming, providing companionship, light housekeeping, and following each client's care plan.

Qualifications

• PSS certification preferred (or willing to obtain)
• Experience as a caregiver, PSS, CNA, or HHA is a plus
• Compassionate, reliable, and respectful
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
• Ability to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Prepare simple meals and perform light housekeeping
• Help with walking and mobility
• Follow the client's care plan
• Complete basic documentation after each visit
• Report any changes in the client's condition
