Job summary

MaineTouch is hiring Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care in and around Sidney, ME 04330. You will work one-on-one with adults and seniors, following each person’s plan of care and assisting with daily activities at home.

Roles include personal care tasks, mobility support, meal prep, light housekeeping, laundry, errands, and companionship. Flexible shifts range from 2 to 40 hours weekly, with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older.
• Maine PSS certification, or willingness to complete training within 60 days of hire.
• CNAs (active or inactive) are welcome.
• Reliable transportation (valid driver's license preferred, assignment dependent).
• Cell phone for documentation and scheduling.
• Physical ability to assist with mobility and daily care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
• Support mobility and safe movement.
• Help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Provide companionship and steady daily support.

Personal Support Specialist (PSS)

MaineTouch is hiring Personal Support Specialists inKennebec Countyfor in-home care positions serving adults and seniors in and around Sidney, ME 04330. If you have experience as a caregiver, home health aide, direct support professional, or in any hands-on personal care role - or if you're simply someone who shows up, does the job right, and wants flexibility - we'd like to talk.

Pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour based on your experience, certifications, and availability, with increases available based on performance and reliability. Shifts range from 2 to 40 hours per week with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options. You tell us your availability - we work to match you with clients in your area. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable.

In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following each person's individualized plan of care. You'll assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, support mobility and safe movement, help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, and offer the kind of companionship and steady daily support that keeps people living safely at home.
