Job summary

MaineTouch is seeking Personal Support Specialists to provide in-home care in Cumberland County, including Gorham, ME 04038. You will work one-on-one with adults and seniors, following individualized care plans to support daily living and safety at home.

Shifts range from 2 to 40 hours per week with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options. Pay is $17–$20 per hour, with mileage reimbursement and potential advancement into CRMA, CNA, CNA-M, DSP, and nursing roles.

Qualifications

• Experience as caregiver or home health aide and ability to assist with daily living tasks.
• Must have or be willing to obtain Maine PSS certification within 60 days of hire.
• CNAs (active or inactive) welcome to apply.
• Reliable transportation and cell phone for scheduling/documentation.

Responsibilities

Personal Support Specialist (PSS)

MaineTouch is hiring Personal Support Specialists in Cumberland County for in-home care positions serving adults and seniors in and around Gorham, ME 04038. If you have experience as a caregiver, home health aide, direct support professional, or in any hands-on personal care role - or if you're simply someone who shows up, does the job right, and wants flexibility - we'd like to talk.

Pay is $17.00 to $20.00 per hour based on your experience, certifications, and availability, with increases available based on performance and reliability. Shifts range from 2 to 40 hours per week with day, evening, weekend, and overnight options. You tell us your availability - we work to match you with clients in your area. Mileage reimbursement is provided when applicable.

In this role, you'll work one-on-one with clients in their homes, following each person's individualized plan of care. You'll assist with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene, support mobility and safe movement, help with meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, and errands, and offer the kind of companionship and steady daily support that keeps people living safely at home.
