Job summary

AM WELL ASSISTANCE SOLUTIONS LLC seeks compassionate Personal Support Specialists to provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and people with disabilities in Randolph, Maine. You will support daily living activities, promote independence, and enhance quality of life.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, mobility, light housekeeping, meals, and companionship, along with transportation to appointments and timely reporting to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid Maine PSS Certification or willingness to complete training.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of active auto insurance.
• Patient, empathetic attitude toward the elderly and commitment to high-quality care.
• Ability to perform lifting, bending and standing tasks.

About the Role

We are looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Personal Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide essential non-medical care to seniors and individuals with disabilities in the comfort of their own homes. Your support helps our clients maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Mobility Support: Provide help with walking, transfers (bed to chair), and fall prevention.
• Household Support: Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and keeping the living area tidy.
• Nutrition: Assist with meal planning, grocery shopping, and healthy meal preparation according to client dietary needs.
• Companionship: Offer emotional support, conversation, and engagement in social activities or hobbies.
• Transportation: Escort clients to doctor’s appointments and help with essential errands.
• Reporting: Observe and document any changes in the client's physical or mental health and communicate updates to the supervisor.

Requirements
