Job summary

Walmart Inc. in Katy, TX seeks a Personal Shopper to join the founding Sam's Club Katy team. Help open a brand-new club, assist members, and create a memorable shopping experience from day one.

You'll be on the move in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy, friendly service, and safety while building relationships with members and the team as we establish operations and culture in this new location.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill Fax 'n Pull and Click 'n Pull orders by reviewing orders, pulling items, scanning, wrapping, and palletizing
• Ensure accuracy of orders and invoices; secure items until members arrive for pickup
• Follow up on out-of-stock merchandise and communicate substitutions to meet member needs
• Process Memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts; participate in sales and marketing events
• Promote the value of Sam's Club products, services, and Membership benefits to help meet Membership goals
• Acknowledge members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing decisions, and resolve issues and concerns
• Conduct safety sweeps; follow forklift spotting procedures and hazardous material handling guidelines
• Follow company steel standard guidelines; correct and report unsafe situations to management

Hourly Wage Range

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
