Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time store associate to deliver exceptional customer service and support our Personal Shopper program. You will assist customers, handle internet orders, and help load groceries into vehicles while maintaining a positive, guest-focused environment.

Training is provided for all associates with extensive customer contact. The role emphasizes courtesy, reliability, and teamwork as you perform bagging, cashier, and order-related duties during shifts in the Durham, NC

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English; must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations.
• Operate Point of Sale Register and bag orders per policy.
• Download internet orders and load customer vehicles as needed.
• Greet customers and communicate clearly; maintain a positive image of Harris Teeter.
• Perform other duties as assigned and attend training sessions.
