Job summary

Acosta is seeking a Picker/Personal Shopper/Merchandiser to support merchandising across locations in Queens and Brooklyn. Reliable transportation is required to travel between sites.

You will handle order picking, educate customers on products, and coordinate with the Sales Team to ensure correct merchandising and stock levels. The role emphasizes strong communication, time management, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience in dealing with the public at the retail sales level preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and fulfill orders for customers; pick items for orders.
• Educate customers on consumer goods products.
• Receive orders from Sales Team, pull products, and place on U-boat.
• Maintain product on shelves and proper inventory; update product databases.
• Demonstrate a team-oriented, outgoing attitude and strong communication.
• Stand/walk for long periods; lift up to 30 pounds; push/pull up to 80 pounds.

We have Picker/Personal Shopper/Merchandiser position available. Locations are in Queens & Brooklyn. Must have reliable transportation to get between locations.

Responsibilities include ensuring distribution and proper merchandising of our top selling brands at the point of sale at the purchasing locations.

The right person for this position has a professional attitude and approach to dealing with clients, sales teams, and distributors.

• Previous experience with order picking

• Ability to organize allocated section and storage of loaded U-boats

• Exceptional Time Management skills, Excellent Communication skills and Organizational Skills Required
• Technologically up to date
• Maintaining product on shelves and proper inventory of what is available, sold, etc.
• Maintaining database of products
• Valid Driver's License with proof of Auto Insurance and reliable transportation is a Requirement

• Be able to effectively communicate with others. Must have good vision and be able to operate a calculator, telephone, copier, hand truck, hammer, and screwdriver and case cutter.
• Be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time. Must be able to comfortably interact with the public.
• Have professional appearance & demeanor.
• Be familiar with Excel and Word.
