Job Summary

The Account Manager will work with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts, handle renewals, marketing processes, and prepare presentation materials. The role involves significant client interaction and independent decision-making. Developing relationships with clients and carrier contacts and proactively delivering services are key. Support for the Account Management Team may also be part of the role.

This is a full-time hybrid role (M-F), requiring at least 1 day/week in our Southampton, NY office; other days remote. Experience in middle-market and high-net-worth/private client servicing is required. Remote candidates with strong industry knowledge will also be considered.

Essential Duties

  • Develop relationships with carriers and clients, participate in meetings
  • Prepare and send RFPs, and draft renewal presentations
  • Review proposals and source documents for accuracy, communicate with clients and carriers with supervisor approval
  • Maintain client files and policy records in the management system
  • Address billing questions, collaborating with the Accounting Department as needed

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must work a hybrid schedule from Southampton, NY; remote alone is not an option
  • Excellent written communication, editing, and presentation skills
  • Confident decision-making and strong interpersonal skills
  • Leadership qualities and technical expertise with analytical problem-solving skills
  • Calm, professional demeanor in handling situations
  • Proficiency with MS Office, AMS 360, EPIC, or similar systems
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and technology

Education and Experience

  • Property & Casualty License upon hire
  • High School diploma or equivalent; additional certifications preferred
  • Over 3 years of industry experience, especially with broker or carrier servicing
  • Experience with property and casualty insurance, including high-net-worth clients, is preferred
