Alamance County Government is seeking a Personal Property Manager to lead the listing, appraisal, assessment, and audit of all taxable personal property in the county. The Personal Property Manager plans, directs, and supervises the listing, appraisal, assessment, and audit of all taxable personal property in Alamance County. Taxable personal property includes business personal property, individual personal property, unregistered motor vehicles, boats, aircraft, manufactured homes, and farm equipment. The position makes sure the division complies with the North Carolina Machinery Act (G.S. Chapter 105, Subchapter II), NC Department of Revenue guidelines, and county policy. The manager leads a team of appraisers and support staff, oversees the annual listing cycle, and serves as the division's primary contact with taxpayers, tax professionals, and other county divisions.
