Job summary

Westwood Insurance Agency in Plano, TX seeks a sales-assist role to help potential customers with their personal insurance needs via phone and email, presenting policy options from multiple carriers and helping them understand benefits.

You will quote accurately, meet sales targets, and build relationships with leads while using the company system to manage tasks and reminders. Requires HS diploma and active P&C license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED is required.
• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• Sales experience with the ability to meet targets.
• Strong organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Quote and sell various insurance policies to potential customers via telephone and email with multiple carriers and meet sales targets.
• Use company sales system to manage leads, tasks and quoting within expected time frames.
• Evaluate risk to accurately quote and recommend carrier and coverage based on underwriting guidelines and customer needs while meeting quality goals.
• Build and maintain relationship with provided lead sources which may be internal or external.
• Organize and prioritize workload to meet team and company targets.
