Your Role as a Personal Lines Insurance Account Executive:

As a Personal Lines Insurance Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and retaining an assigned book of personal lines accounts. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring their coverage needs are met, renewals are handled seamlessly, and client relationships remain strong. This role requires excellent communication skills, insurance expertise, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service that drives client satisfaction and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Management & Retention

  • Manage day-to-day needs of assigned personal lines accounts, including policy changes, invoicing, and coverage reviews.

  • Maintain appropriate coverage for clients, identify gaps, and recommend solutions.

  • Provide prompt, accurate feedback to client inquiries.

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, carriers, and team members.

Renewals & Marketing

  • Facilitate the renewal process by gathering information, securing terms, and delivering options in advance of effective dates.

  • Conduct remarketing as needed, including online rating, applications, and carrier communications.

Business Growth & Collaboration

  • Contribute to agency growth by cross-selling and upselling within the existing book of business.

  • Follow established workflows and maintain accurate records.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service delivery.

What You Need to Succeed:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

  • Experience with AMS360 is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ personal insurance experience.

  • Active Property & Casualty license required.

  • Professional insurance designations (CIC, CISR, etc.) preferred but not required.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of personal lines underwriting and coverage.

  • Familiarity with carrier rating systems.
