The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team in Ellsworth, ME. This is an in-office position reporting to our agency located in Ellsworth, ME.

The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This role requires you to develop and maintain strong client relationships, manage a book of business, assess insurance needs, review accounts and renewals, and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a Personal Lines insurance agency environment.
• Active ME property & casualty license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills.
• Punctual, reliable, and organized.
• Strong administrative and computing skills, including Microsoft products.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills, attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and enjoy interactions with team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Manage a book of business.
• Understand clients’ insurance needs and provide tailored solutions to ensure proper coverage.
• Review client accounts and handle renewals.
• Collaborate with underwriters and team members.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and regulatory changes.
