Established insurance agency seeking a detail-oriented person with clear knowledge of personal lines insurance coverages.
Job Description:
- Full knowledge of insurance products and usages.
- Ability to advise and consult with clients.
- Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow.
- Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines.
- Service and monitor account activity.
- Call existing insureds to compliment or "round out" personal accounts.
- Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business.
- Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Personal Lines.
- Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
- Process endorsements, placement requests, and invoicing.
- Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries, and reviews.
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners, carriers, and vendors.
- Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience handling personal insurance accounts.
- Ability to meet with clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies.
- Must hold an active state P&C License.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
