GLP Attorneys, the leading personal injury firm in Washington, seeks a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal in Spokane to support attorneys, manage client relationships, and handle case preparation in a fast-paced environment.

You will draft pleadings, coordinate with healthcare providers, review medical records, and maintain organized case files, contributing to successful outcomes for clients while upholding the firm’s values and culture.

Qualifications

• Litigation experience preferred.
• At least two years in plaintiffs’ personal injury law.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; combination acceptable.
• Proven ability to manage high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, and staff.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
• Independent judgment and confidentiality.
• Proficiency in drafting and proofreading legal documents.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to prioritize and resolve problems independently.
• Experience reviewing medical records; coordinating with experts preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a caseload with attorney and legal team.
• Manage client communications and relationships with healthcare providers.
• Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery and responses.
• Draft motions, responses, and replies; assist with legal research.
• Maintain and organize case files including pleadings and discovery.
• Retain and coordinate with expert witnesses.
• Review medical records.
• Prepare ER 904 submissions and other case documents.
• Prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy in high-volume environment.
• Exercise independent judgment to identify issues and support case strategy.
