DearLegal Attorney, a modern legal services platform in New York City, seeks a hands-on Personal Injury Paralegal to support attorneys from intake through resolution in a full-time, on-site role. You will draft and organize legal documents, maintain case files, and prepare materials for hearings, mediations, and trials, while coordinating with clients, medical providers, and opposing counsel.

• Relevant experience as a personal injury paralegal or legal assistant in a plaintiff-side or defense firm is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with legal case management software and common office applications; experience with modern digital workflows is beneficial.

Role Description

The Personal Injury Paralegal will support attorneys by managing personal injury cases from intake through resolution in a full-time capacity. This on-site role, based in the New York City Metropolitan Area, includes drafting and organizing legal documents, maintaining case files, and preparing materials for hearings, mediations, and trials. Day-to-day tasks involve managing case files, reviewing medical and insurance records, communicating with clients, providers, and opposing counsel, and tracking case deadlines. The paralegal will also assist with settlement preparation, lien resolution, and data entry into DearLegal's integrated case management system to ensure accurate and timely case processing.
