Job summary

gpac is partnering with a growing, well-established personal injury law firm in Minneapolis to hire an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal who will own cases from intake through resolution.

You will manage a caseload, coordinate with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers, draft and file pleadings and discovery, and support attorneys through settlement and litigation. Strong organizational skills and 2+ years in PI paralegal roles are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal or similar role.
• Strong understanding of personal injury claims and litigation process.
• Experience handling medical records, bills, insurance information, and settlement documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
• Litigation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Gather, organize, and maintain medical records, bills, reports, and other case documentation.
• Assist with drafting and preparing demand packages, correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Monitor case deadlines, appointments, medical treatment, and important case milestones.
• Request and review medical records and billing information.
• Obtain and organize insurance policy information and coverage documentation.
• Assist attorneys with case preparation, settlement negotiations, and litigation support.
• Maintain accurate and organized electronic case files.
• Coordinate with clients and medical providers to ensure cases progress efficiently.
• Track settlement offers, liens, subrogation claims, and related documentation.
• Provide exceptional client service and keep clients informed throughout the legal process.
• Perform legal research and other administrative or case-related duties as needed.
