Location

Albuquerque, NM: In-office work required for those residing in this area.

Remote: Available for those living outside the Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Santa Fe, or Roswell metro areas.

Work collaboratively with attorneys to provide intelligent, compassionate, and determined advocacy for clients, ensuring maximum compensation for harms caused by others' wrongful actions.

Provide clients and case files with the attention and organization needed to reach resolutions effectively and efficiently.

Ensure every client feels valued, heard, and supported throughout their case, knowing that Parnall Law fought for them.

Key Responsibilities

Attend firm-wide huddles and team meetings as scheduled.

Draft and file complaints within 30 days of a case transfer.

Ensure service of process is completed within designated timeframes.

Schedule and track case milestones, including scheduling hearings, mediations, and depositions.

Provide telephonic client updates every six weeks, with no more than 10 outstanding updates at any given time.

Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in SmartAdvocate.

Draft and serve subpoenas, discovery requests, and responses.

Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including scheduling witness statements, compiling exhibits, and creating necessary legal binders.

Perform background checks on defendants and clients as part of case preparation.

Work collaboratively with attorneys, case managers, and legal assistants to move cases toward resolution.

Qualifications

-Minimum 3 years of personal injury litigation paralegal experience required, supervisory experience preferred

-Ability to travel in the event a case goes to trial is required.

-Strong understanding of state, local, and federal court rules.

-Ability to be available to work during business hours Mountain time zone (Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Friday 8:00-4:00)

Job Type

Full-time

Salary: $58,260 - $74,900 per year

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
