Job summary

Outstanding Plaintiff Law Firm is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Paralegal to support our plaintiff practice in Montgomery, AL. You will manage daily client files, draft pleadings, organize medical records, and assist with trial preparation.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in civil litigation, experience with state and federal courts, and the ability to work independently. Bachelor's or equivalent preferred; strong communication and tech skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in civil litigation preferred but not required.
• Work history within a plaintiff firm.
• Ability to independently work up a personal injury case.
• Bachelor’s degree/Certification/Associate Degree preferred.
• Courtroom/Trial experience.
• Independent worker with strong communication skills.
• Mature work ethic and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Daily client and case management
• Draft pleadings/manage discovery
• Organize/request medical records
• E-file pleadings with various state and federal courts
• Dictation as needed
• Investigate and/or research as needed
• Trial preparation
• Attend and provide support during trial.
• Travel required (Travel is related to trials. It can be minimal but could also have multiple trials in a year)

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience in civil litigation preferred but not required
• Work history within a plaintiff firm
• Ability to independently work up a personal injury case
• Bachelor’s degree/Certification/Associate Degree preferred
• Courtroom/Trial experience
• Independent worker
• Strong communication skills
