Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin State Bar membership in good standing.
• 2+ years of litigation experience preferred; personal injury/plaintiff litigation a plus.
• Strong legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload while maintaining quality and client care.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage litigation cases: handle personal injury and motor vehicle accident cases from litigation through settlement, trial, or other resolution.
• Develop case strategy: evaluate liability, damages, case value, and litigation strategy tailored to each client.
• Handle litigation: draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery; take/defend depositions; attend mediations and hearings.
• Prepare for trial: prep witnesses and exhibits, work with experts, participate in trial proceedings.
• Advocate for clients: communicate regularly with clients, guide them through litigation, negotiate with insurers/defense counsel.
• Work with the team: collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, attorneys, and experts to move cases forward.
